In the reflection of the horses eye is a shooter, as this was a difficult thing to think of so was it to paint therefore I did it as abstractly as possible and left the horses eye calm as they are innocent yet the colors reflect imminent thoughts of what they face each day in an unknown world totally relying on humans for their protection. My first love was a horse and many years of riding that most kids today never get a chance to have the freedom to ride or open space to enjoy. Many are now gone and we dont want the horses of the world to be next!
This piece is a reminder of what we want to keep- the love of a horse and a reminder (the shooter)
still lurks amongst us all. Be aware, love and protect the future of all horses.
